Internship Architecture

An Architecture internship at FABRICations offers the opportunity to engage in challenging design projects across a range of scales. You will work in various teams on ambitious projects at different stages of the design process, involving both technical and executional tasks, creative and conceptual work, as well as research.

At FABRICations, we design not only interiors and buildings, but also examine the underlying systems and their interactions with the surrounding environment. We continually explore future typologies and spatial solutions that respond to global and local challenges and changes.

  • Situated in the heart of Amsterdam, our office boasts an inspiring and informal atmosphere. With team members from all over the globe, we bring a wealth of perspectives to our diverse range of cutting-edge projects, promoting collaboration across teams. To facilitate optimal exchange and engagement, we ask everyone to work primarily from the studio, where we share a healthy lunch each day and organise events for mutual learning. Additionally, we provide a competitive internship compensation package, which includes an attractive monthly stipend, daily lunch, coverage of your commuting costs and fun team outings.

    • Master’s student in Architecture or in the interim between studies

    • Preferably available for a minimum of six months

    • Valid work permit

    • Solid conceptual and graphic skills

    • Competent in English communication

    • Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) and proficient with ArchiCAD, SketchUp, and/or Rhinoceros

    • Trusted to thrive in an ambitious international context
